AEW Dynamite Results (3/26/2025)
#1. Blake Christian vs. Kenny Omega – Winner: Kenny Omega
Kenny Omega talks about his challengers in Ricochet and “Speedball” Mike Bailey, which brings out the latter. Bailey congratulates Omega on his win and calls him an inspiration. He admires him as a wrestler, a person, and as a champion. But come Dynasty, he won’t hold anything back, or hesitate for a second to kick his head clean off for that International Championship.
Before Omega can reply, Ricochet interrupts them via satellite. He is getting ready for his wedding, which is why he isn’t there. The inevitable is that after Dynasty, he will leave with the girl and the gold. Omega says he isn’t going to Dynasty to make friends, as he has a cat at home, and the title around his shoulder. But that’s all he has time for tonight, so he bids everyone adieu, and goodnight bang!
– Chris Jericho tells Big Bill and Bryan Keith they need to prove themselves after all this time under The Learning Tree, or they may have to consider why they are with him. He sends out a challenge to Bandido, with the ROH World Championship on the line for his mask.
– Next up, MJF answers MVP’s invitation to join the Hurt Syndicate. MJF tells us his words are more important than everyone else watching in person or at home. After looking at his card for two weeks, MJF would like to talk about this invitation with MVP. MJF welcomes him to the ring and compliments his new cane. He has made a decision, and he would like to be in the business of hurting people. Before they can shake on it, Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin interrupt them.
Lashley demands that MJF give him the card. He rips up the card in front of MJF. Through the tension, MVP tries to calm down Lashley, and he does so enough that MJF gets to walk away without being hurt. Big Bill and Bryan Keith interrupt this to lay down a challenge for the tag team titles. MVP tells them to actually win a match, and only then can they get a shot at the titles.
– Toni Storm and Thunder Rosa send a warning to Penelope Ford and Megan Bayne ahead of their match tonight. Storm calls their team “Thunder Tits”, which isn’t exactly what Rosa had in mind, but everyone else found it funny.
#2. Brody King vs. Kyle Fletcher – Winner: Kyle Fletcher with an assist from the Don Callis Family
Powerhouse Hobbs turns up to even the odds, which leaves him and Brody King holding the ring.
Before the next match, we get a brief plug for Dynamite from the stars of the Minecraft movie, Jack Black & Jason Momoa.
#3. Powerhouse Hobbs vs. Mark Davis – Winner: Powerhouse Hobbs
Nick Wayne continues to defy Christian Cage by stating that last Wednesday was what happens when everyone is on the same page and a plan comes together.
In a backstage sit-down interview with Tony Schiavone, Rated FTR talk out some of their issues to get back on the same page. After some apologizing, Adam Copeland sends out a Trios Championship challenge to the Death Riders.
Next up, Swerve Strickland calls out Jon Moxley. The champion makes his way to the ring by himself to hear what Strickland has to say. Swerve tells him he hides behind his group and still has the nerve to say nobody is ready to fight for it. Everything Moxley used to claim he was is who Swerve is now. Claudio Castagnoli appears behind Prince Nana. Moxley likes what Strickland said, but who is he really? What is he? He had some high hopes for him, but he will give him a chance to become everything he can be.
But how far is he willing to go? When everything becomes too much, will he still be able to hold his head up high? Everything Moxley has done is for a reason. He doesn’t give handouts, so how far is he willing to go? Strickland reminds him he is the most dangerous man in AEW, and when he has taken the AEW World title, Moxley can keep on enjoying playing a guy called Jon Moxley on TV. The Death Riders think better of doing anything until Marina Shafir decides to go after Willow Nightingale. The Death Riders manage to separate them.
Backstage, Samoa Joe has fun by choking out Max Caster. Him & Hook show some respect to Top Flight and AR Fox while Caster is out cold.
#4. Top Flight (w/ AR Fox) vs. Alex Findley & Devo Knight – Winners: Top Flight
#5. Mark Briscoe vs. Konosuke Takeshita (w/ Don Callis) – Winner: Konosuke Takeshita
#6. Thunder Tits (Toni Storm & Thunder Rosa) vs. Penelope Ford & Megan Bayne – Winners: Ford & Bayne
Megan Bayne pinned the AEW Women’s World Champion.
