AEW Dynamite Results (4/23/2025)
Master P opens the show by introducing the new AEW Trios Champions. Samoa Joe gets the crowd doing “Make ‘Em Say Uhh!” – After that, he thanks Master P for what he does for New Orleans. The Death Riders show up and try to blindside them, but the champions are ready. Joe locks in the clutch on Moxley and Master P gets in some shots. The Elite shows up to hit Joe with a steel chair.
Marina Shafir directs Moxley away from the Young Bucks, just in time for Swerve Strickland’s music to hit. Swerve appears from the crowd, which sends The Elite in to a retreat, and straight in to a chair wielding Kenny Omega. The Death Riders and The Elite want no part of The Opps, Strickland and Omega. Joe gets a microphone and sends a warning to Jon Moxley. He will be taking his AEW World Championship back.
Backstage, Christian Cage takes the ROH TV title from Nick Wayne. Look what happens when he listens. After Nick won the title, Christian spent a lot of time celebrating with his Mother. Wayne fires back by telling him that this is what happens when they follow the plan, before trying to take the title back. Cage puts the title back on Nick’s shoulder, along with sharing that he “loves his family”.
Ricochet attacks Briscoe with a steel chair. Kevin Knight appears to make the save, and stops Ricochet from using his golden scissors. Meanwhile, we see the Rock N’ Roll Express watching the action from the crowd.
Next up, Stokely Hathaway introduces FTR before joining Tony Schiavone in the ring for an interview. Hathaway points out the hypocrisy of others doing criminal things, while FTR is fined and suspended for far less. He promises to get the suspension expunged and their money returned. If anyone wants a conversation with FTR, they have to go through him first, because he is the new agent for FTR. He then tells Schiavone to do his job.
FTR talks about Daniel Garcia and what they did to 2.0, before inviting Rock N’ Roll Express in to the ring. Dax Harwood puts them over and then asks them what their greatest match ever is. It had to be with the Midnight Express, right? Dax asks for their age, but he doesn’t them answer. He assumes they are over 108 years old. Eventually, Ricky Morton gets sick of this and tells them they aren’t being embarrassed tonight. Hathaway puts over the new shirt, which he throws at Morton. This is enough of a distraction for FTR to attack them and hit Morton with a Piledriver. Paragon quickly runs out there, but FTR hightails it.
Toni Storm gives a performance backstage, which leads to her offering an open challenge for Collision. Queen Aminata steps up to accept.
The Hurt Syndicate makes its way to the ring. MVP lets us know that they hurt people so much, there’s no competition. As MVP hands the microphone to Bobby Lashley, he is interrupted by MJF turning up at the venue, and then by his entrance.
He knows they had a good time last week, so if they want to have good times for the rest of their lives, let’s see those thumbs up. Shelton Benjamin gives a thumbs up, but not for the women or the watch. It is because of MVP. Next up, before Lashley can make a decision, MJF tells him he is sorry. Also, he can have the car he turned up in. Lashley wants to see the keys, so they go for a walk as they are in the car.
Lashley checks out the car and asks for the keys. MJF hands them over. Lashley and Benjamin get in the car. As he starts driving, MJF asks for his decision. Lashley gives him a thumbs down and then drives away! MJF is livid, but MVP quickly calms him down.
The Don Callis Family beat up Ospreay and King some more, softening them up for Kyle Fletcher, who joins them in the ring. Hangman Page shows up to go after Fletcher, but he is blindsided by Trent Beretta and Rocky Romero.
