  • The show opens with a Jon Moxley video. He says he has to be the one to take out Bryan Danielson. “Stand down while you can. Run while you still have a chance.” He hopes Danielson will understand what he’s doing some day, but he can’t worry about that at the moment, as the stakes are just too high.
  • There is then a video of Danielson saying Claudio Castagnoli is wrong about this being his last match on Dynamite.
  • Darby Allin calls out Brody King. They talk about their friendship and when Allin was in AEW wishing King could join him. Tension flies high and they start to fight before they are broken apart by officials.
  • Renee Paquette interviews Jake “The Snake” Roberts and Lance Archer, but they are immediately interrupted by Don Callis. Archer is now part of The Don Callis Family after he acquired his managerial services through a deal with Roberts.
  • Daniel Garcia is shown arriving to the building. Renee Paquette asks about his contract status and he says he is going to reveal that in the ring.
  • Hologram defeated Komander by pinfall. After the match, Hologram is beaten down by Rush, The Beast Mortos and Dralistico, and are now paired up with Jake “The Snake” Roberts.
  • Mark Briscoe talks some trash about Chris Jericho. He’s going to hurt him at WrestleDream.
  • Daniel Garcia heads to the ring for a promo. He confirms he’s staying in All Elite Wrestling and he’s going to be the guy the company builds the future on.
  • A video shows that Swerve Strickland is going to return at WrestleDream. MVP and Shelton Benjamin were watching the package backstage.
  • Several AEW stars are backstage praising Daniel Garcia, happy he’s staying in the company. One of them is Katsuyori Shibata, who says he’s going to win the TNT Championship at WrestleDream and implies he’ll give him a title shot after that.
  • Four-Way, Winner Gets Women’s Title Match at AEW WrestleDream: Willow Nightingale defeated Saraya, Jamie Hayter and Nyla Rose. Britt Baker was explained to not be in the match due to being ill and not allowed to travel. During the match, Penelope Ford returned and went after Hayter. After the match, Mariah May took out Nightingale with the title belt.
  • The Learning Tree went up to Rocky Romero, trying to teach him his self-worth. They point out how it took months for The Conglomeration to just give him a t-shirt to bring him in to offset Mark Sterling, which is the lowest of the low in AEW. Chris Jericho calls him a lackey, which upsets Romero. They want him to see the big picture.
  • Jay White defeated Cody Chhun. After the match, White cut a promo about “Hangman” Adam Page. He wants a match against Page at WrestleDream and plans to go for the world title after.
  • HOOK says he’s done chasing down answers of who attacked Taz. He then grabs Kip Sabian, who denies having any involvement, and is approached by The Patriarchy (minus Killswitch). Christian Cage sympathizes with HOOK’s “loss of his father” and walks off.
  • AEW TBS Championship: Mercedes Mone (c) defeated Emi Sakura by submission. Kris Statlander came out to make the save for a post-match beating of Sakura, going after Kamille.
  • Backstage, Stokely Hathaway wants Private Party to join him. They reject him, asking where he’s been the past five years since he’s only popped up now that they’re fighting for the tag titles. They don’t just want this, they need this, and they’re desperate to beat The Young Bucks.
  • Tony Schiavone interviews Will Ospreay in the ring. Ospreay knows Konosuke Takeshita doesn’t make any moves like interfering in the International Championship last week without the order from Don Callis. Callis comes out and eventually admits that he did in fact order Takeshita to do that, out of frustration, wanting to prove to Ospreay who calls the shots. Ospreay says “you don’t know sh*t, bruv.” Callis says “I had the best wrestler in the world and I threw him in the garbage for you” (Kenny Omega) and thinks that maybe he’ll have to do the same again when it comes to Ospreay. Ospreay says he can’t believe he ever had any respect for him and officially says he’s done. Callis slaps him in the face as a response. Ospreay goes after him and tosses him across the ring, but Takeshita interferes. Kyle Fletcher then pulls Ospreay off Takeshita and they argue, leaving an opening for Takeshita to give Ospreay a suplex from behind while Fletcher looks upset. Callis hands Fletcher a screwdriver, who is conflicted and walks off. This gives Ospreay now a chance to fight Takeshita. Callis holds Ospreay back and Takeshita nails Ospreay to lay him out. As he poses with the title, Ricochet comes out to launch himself into the ring after Takeshita, who runs away. Now, it’s Ricochet who grabs the belt, but he hands it to Ospreay.
  • Top Flight is pissed off after losing the tag title shot opportunity. They know they’re the better teams and there’s no reason why they shouldn’t be the ones to beat The Young Bucks. Leila Grey blames Action Andretti, who thinks Dante and Darius Martin aren’t fired up and “just don’t get it.”
  • Bryan Danielson & Wheeler Yuta defeated Claudio Castagnoli & PAC by submission. A brawl ensued after the match that saw Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir running off, but Yuta being hit in the stomach with a hammer by Castagnoli
