  • The show opened with a promo from Ethan Page, which was interrupted by Joe Hendry. They talked smack about each other, with Hendry saying he’s going for the NXT Championship and Page saying Hendry’s 15 minutes of fame are up. Wes Lee then attacked Hendry from behind to end the segment.
  • Next week, there will be a No Mercy Gauntlet Eliminator Match with a future shot at Roxanne Perez’s NXT Women’s Championship on the line. The six women, chosen at random by Ava through the gold tumbler WWE used to use for Royal Rumble entrances, are Wren Sinclair, Adriana Rizzo, Sol Ruca, and the remaining three will be picked later. Stevie Turner still took credit for the idea, much to Robert Stone’s dismay.
  • NXT Heritage Cup Match: Charlie Dempsey defeated Tony D’Angelo (c) to win the title with a little help from Wren Sinclair!
  • Backstage earlier today, Lola Vice and Kelani Jordan talked to each other about Tatum Paxley being an outsider. Vice went over to Paxley out of sympathy, only for Paxley to flip out about how she has no friends and that Vice has been given everything.
  • Lexis King defeated Eddy Thorpe by pinfall.
  • A video promo from Trick Williams spoke to how he plans to get revenge on Pete Dunne, who, when interviewed about a rematch, said he’s moving on to the NXT Championship.
  • Also backstage, several women were getting their hair and makeup done. Fallon Henley and Jacy Jayne ended up trading verbal barbs with Meta-Four’s Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson.
  • Lola Vice defeated Tatum Paxley by pinfall. Wendy Choo attacked Kelani Jordan, who was ringside on commentary for the match.
  • The three remaining women were chosen for next week’s gauntlet match: Jaida Parker, Kendal Grey and Karmen Petrovic. Brinley Reece was happy for Petrovic, saying if it isn’t her, she’s happy for Petrovic. Izzi Dame, though, complained that she deserved a spot more, saying she couldn’t stand her at their NXT trial and still can’t.
  • Promo: Wes Lee explained his heel turn from last week. Essentially, when Zachary Wentz was fired from NXT, everyone wrote him off as being lost and needing a new tag team partner, as he couldn’t be a singles star. He dusted himself off and did some great things, but he’s done with being the one who would squash beef for Wentz, worrying over what Wentz was going to say next, etc. It’s time for them to not ride his coattails anymore. He knows they’ll have a match, and No Mercy is a fitting name for him to beat the hell out of Wentz. Then, Wentz and Trey Miguel can go back to have a wonderful career in TNA, while Lee will go after bigger and better things, like the NXT Championship. “On behalf of WWE Superstar Wes Lee, I wish you the best in your future endeavors.” Lee was then interrupted by Pete Dunne, who praised him for the turn, but reiterated that he wants the NXT Championship. Joe Hendry then came out to go after Lee as retribution from earlier, starting a brawl between the three that had to be broken up by officials and security.
  • Axiom and Nathan Frazer claim to be back on the same page and locked in with their full focus on the NXT tag team titles.
  • Tony D’Angelo was asked what’s on his mind after losing the NXT Heritage Cup. He was immediately interrupted by Oba Femi, who wanted to say he’s ready for battle against Otis tonight.
  • In the locker room, Duke Hudson apologized to Ridge Holland. It doesn’t matter who goes for the tag titles, as long as they bring it home to Chase U. Ridge thanked them all for having his back and he plans to do everything in his power to win those titles tonight.
  • NXT North American Championship Match: Oba Femi (c) defeated Otis by pinfall.
  • A vignette aired of Brooks Jensen being coached to thank Shawn Spears for his guidance. Backstage, Malik Blade and Edris Enofe expressed their concerns over Jensen, as they came into NXT together, and Josh Briggs is off in Japan, so he’s unable to watch over Brooks. Hank Walker also voiced his concern, and then spoke to Tank Ledger about how he talked to Ava and booked them in a tag team match next week against Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson.
  • Izzi Dame defeated Brinley Reece by pinfall
  • Roxanne Perez interrupted Ava’s interview to talk about how this gauntlet match has the chance to propel someone into becoming “the next Roxanne Perez”, but they’re going to have to wait a long, long time for that.
  • Backstage, Ashante “Thee” Adonis strikes out with four girls, while Dion Lennox had two of them by his side while reading a book – “It Ends With Us”. This prompts Adonis to say it’ll end between them next week in a match, which took Lennox by surprise.
  • NXT Tag Team Championship Match: Chase University (Andre Chase & Ridge Holland) defeated The Supersonic Duo (c) (Axiom & Nathan Frazer) by pinfall to win the titles!
