  • Ava warns the referees and officials that she wants to make sure nothing goes on tonight with all the different talent and tension running high lately.
  • No. 1 Contender NXT Tag Team Turmoil Match
    • Edris Enofe and Malik Blade are eliminated by New Catch Republic
    • Los Garza were eliminated by New Catch Republic with some help from Apollo Crews interfering
    • Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson were eliminated by New Catch Republic. The O.C. had a stare down with OTM as they were exiting.
    • Chase U wins the title shot for Heatwave by eliminating New Catch Republic (with a little help from Ridge Holland)
  • Earlier today, Roxanne Perez was mad at Karmen Petrovic over thinking Lola Vice is a threat to her title.
  • Dante Chen volunteered to back up Nathan Frazer in his Heritage Cup match. Axiom approaches to say he will be in Frazer’s corner. Chen’s always willing to step in if needed, though.
  • Promo: Ethan Page wants Ava to have him replace Je’Von Evans in the title match for Heatwave since he was never eliminated from the battle royal and beat Evans later in the same night. This led to Page, Evans, Shawn Spears and Trick Williams fighting, with Evans and Williams standing tall together in the ring and the heels sent packing.
  • Backstage, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger approached New Catch Republic and asked for a match next week to test their skills.
  • Stevie Turner and Robert Stone aren’t getting along as Turner continues to want more opportunities and questions what Stone does around here.
  • Wes Lee defeated Joe Coffey by pinfall.
  • Chase U celebrated backstage finally being on the same page (not really) and earning their tag title shot. Duke Hudson and Ridge Holland had asked for photos of their match from last week, but hid them from the others.
  • Tony D’Angelo retained the NXT Heritage Cup over Nathan Frazer with a 2-1 decision.
  • Je’Von Evans has Trick Williams’ back for tonight, but Trick admits that the idea of that makes him nervous based on how Carmelo Hayes had said he had his back and the title got between them.
  • Roxanne Perez defeated Karmen Petrovic by pinfall. Lola Vice laid out Perez after the match with her spinning back fist and left with the NXT Women’s Championship.
  • Noam Dar was on the phone with the rest of Meta-Four, thanking them for their help. He said Ethan Page did a number on him with his attack. Oro Mensah says he really loves all the rest of them. He tells a story about his father almost dying when he was a child and how he ended up in foster care for a while. Being so far away from home, he didn’t feel like he fit in, and never felt like that until he met the rest of Meta-Four. He cannot and will not rest until he gets revenge on Page for what he did to Noam Dar.
  • Backstage, OTM and The O.C. got into a brawl.
  • After the break, Lola Vice dropped the women’s title off to Ava’s office and said she wants a shot at the championship at NXT Heatwave.
  • Tavion Heights defeated Damon Kemp by pinfall. As per the stipulation, this means Heights has an invitation to join No Quarter Catch Crew.
  • Brinley Reece tried to cheer up Edris Enofe and Malik Blade about their loss from earlier. She’s still proud of how well they did. Izzi Dame approached them to say Blade and Enofe won’t amount to anything and they don’t want Reece around. Tatum Paxley was creeping on them, watching them through a window until Dame smacked it to scare her off.
  • Also backstage, in the locker room, Axiom tried to cheer up Frazer for coming close to winning the Heritage Cup. He’s still bummed, though. Axiom wants to watch some tape, but Frazer has a match on Speed to come, so he wants to go get his back checked out instead.
  • Sol Ruca defeated Arianna Grace by pinfall.
  • Roxanne Perez complained to Ava, accusing her of stealing her title (what?) and Ava decided to make that match with Lola Vice for Heatwave official.
  • Jacy Jayne, Jazmyn Nyx and Fallon Henley were annoyed at Ruca and Jordan bonding together and how that’s the title match for Heatwave. They think they should be given more opportunities.
  • Non-Title Match: Shawn Spears defeated Trick Williams by pinfall. Oro Mensah attacked Ethan Page (who was joining the commentary booth for the first part of the match). Brooks Jensen caused a scene and ended up distracting everyone enough for Spears to get the win over the NXT champion.
  • Robert Stone and Stevie Turner asked Ava how she’s going to resolve this whole situation. Ava’s response was to change the title match at Heatwave to a Fatal 4-Way.
