  • Je’Von Evans won the Battle Royal to determine the No. 1 contender to NXT Championship by last eliminating Shawn Spears. Notable participants were Frankie Kazarian and Joe Hendry from NXT, Apollo Crews, Los Garza
  • A bunch of Superstars argued in the women’s locker room over who should get title shots.
  • Roxanne Perez confronted Lola Vice over the way she looked at the NXT Women’s Championship last week. Vice said not to worry and that she isn’t coming for her, yet. Perez doesn’t trust anyone, including Vice, but is down to handle business.
  • Ridge Holland was given a Chase U shirt backstage by Andre Chase, Duke Hudson and Thea Hail. Riley Osborne wasn’t there. The Good Brothers interrupted their little celebration to pick a verbal fight.
  • Triple Threat Tag Team Match: Roxanne Perez & Lola Vice defeated Jacy Jayne & Jazmyn Nyx and Meta-Four (Jakara Jackson & Lash Legend). Perez then took out Vice to make a statement.
  • Je’Von Evans was talking to Ava in her office when Ethan Page interrupted, furious over Oro Mensah attacking him. Page stated that he should technically still be in the battle royal, as he wasn’t eliminated (and he’s right). Evans suggested they fight later on tonight in the main event.
  • Sol Ruca gave Kelani Jordan a quick pep talk prior to the commercial break.
  • NXT Women’s North American Championship: Kelani Jordan (c) defeated Michin by pinfall. Jaida Parker interfered to push Michin off the turnbuckle. Jordan didn’t see this.
  • Izzi Dame had a vignette hyping her as “that girl”, touting her volleyball skills and ragging on the rest of the division.
  • Axiom was upset with Nathan Frazer for being in the battle royal and having his eyes on the Heritage Cup. He thinks Frazer isn’t happy being just tag champs. Frazer wanted to know why Axiom didn’t want to join in the battle royal and quickly jumped to sign a contract for a Heritage Cup shot presented to him by Luca Crusifino. Next week, there will be a tag team turmoil match to determine the next challengers for The Supersonic Duo.
  • Still images of TNA Against All Odds were shown of Tatum Paxley answering Jordynne Grace’s open challenge and falling short of winning the TNA Knockouts World Championship.
  • Oba Femi cut a promo about retaining his title at Battleground. Wes Lee interrupted. He still wants to win back the NXT North American Championship. Femi was about to walk away, before Lee yelled at him not to turn his back on him. Lee wants to show Femi why he has the name in the record books for that title and not Femi. Femi agrees on the singles match, but it will be the final time Lee can challenge him as long as he’s champion. Lee agrees.
  • Backstage, Hank Walker tells Tank Ledger he’s been cleared to compete. They want to fight New Catch Republic to get back on track for their tag title aspirations.
  • Charlie Dempsey was upset with Myles Borne for not telling Tavion Heights why he invited him to talk. Dempsey wanted to recruit Heights for the No Quarter Catch Crew. Heights simply said “All right.” Dempsey wants Heights to fight Damon Kemp next week with the idea that if Heights wins, he’s in.
  • Footage from NXT Anonymous showed Gallus upset backstage, before they were jumped by Tyriek Igwe and Tyson Dupont.
  • Fallon Henley defeated Carlee Bright by pinfall. Wendy Choo came out during the match to go after Kendal Grey, who was ringside to support Bright.
  • Eddy Thorpe was quickly interviewed in the parking lot. He didn’t win the battle royal, but NXT is hot right now, and he wants to be in the middle of it, no matter what title is up for grabs.
  • Je’Von Evans had his ribs taped up by the medical staff as Trick Williams hyped him up for winning the battle royal and said Ethan Page doesn’t belong in NXT. He’s always going to be an outsider.
  • Chase U (Andre Chase & Duke Hudson) defeated Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows by pinfall (even though Anderson’s shoulders were up)
  • Kelani Jordan spoke to Ava and Robert Stone in Ava’s office about the next in line for a Women’s North American Championship shot. Stevie Turner was standing there with them, but didn’t say anything. Arianna Grace interrupted to claim the title shot and got upset when Jordan said she was going to suggest Sol Ruca. This leads to Grace against Ruca next week to determine who gets the shot, while Turner just stewed.
  • Chase U talked backstage about their victory. Hudson turned a blind eye to Ridge Holland helping them out.
  • Henley was upset about being passed over for a shot at Jordan, who she thinks doesn’t deserve the belt to begin with. Jayne and Nyx came over to also complain about how things are going down around here.
  • Ethan Page defeated Je’Von Evans by pinfall. Shawn Spears attacked Evans after the match. Williams tried to help, but got attacked by Page. [Foreshadowing of a Fatal 4-Way at Heatwave, rather than just Evans against Williams?]
