  • Contract Signing: Ethan Page and Trick Williams came to blows and no one signed the contract.
  • Backstage last week, Tony D’Angelo was mad at Hammerstone for failing to take out Oba Femi. Now, he wants to take out Hammerstone as punishment for not getting the job done.
  • After a commercial break, Ava spoke to Robert Stone and Stevie Turner backstage about her surprise getting ruined. Je’Von Evans and Cedric Alexander approached so Evans could put his name in the hat for the big CW premiere show.
  • Lyra Valkyria and Tatum Paxley defeated Wendy Choo and Rosemary by pinfall.
  • Trick Williams is being looked over and promises he will sign the contract tonight and get revenge on Ethan Page, as Ava also promises the contract will be signed.
  • No Quarter Catch Crew is back at full strength. Everyone hypes up Tavion Heights for his Japan tour. Charlie Dempsey tells Wren Sinclair that she needs to make a name for herself, and she’s hyped up.
  • Hammerstone defeated Tony D’Angelo by count-out as D’Angelo forfeited the match and just walked off eventually.
  • Zachary Wentz came out to ask the production truck to show footage of Wes Lee attacking Trey Miguel. Wentz says this is going to end in Chicago in their street fight on October 1st.
  • In her office, Ava spoke to Tyrese Haliburton, who thinks he can get the contract signed. Mr. Stone praised Haliburton, who didn’t know who he was.
  • Fatal Influence has a quick interview where they reiterate that they control the women’s division. In a response to that, Lola Vice and Jaida Parker momentarily talk in the women’s locker room about how they don’t want to work together, but still do have a common enemy in Fatal Influence.
  • Eddy Thorpe defeated Ashante “Thee” Adonis by pinfall.
  • Video Promo: Thea Hail and Riley Osborne talked about their disappointment in Ridge Holland. They brought him into Chase University to try to prove everyone wrong who were naysayers, but he ended up showing how rotten he is and broke Hail’s heart. Osborne is seeking revenge next week.
  • In-Ring Promo: CM Punk came out to put over NXT and some of its current and past talent. Roxanne Perez interrupted to say Punk was one of her inspirations (even though she always did prefer his wife, AJ Lee) and say she finally realized she should have been a Drew McIntyre fan all along. Perez continues to poke the bear. Punk puts over her gumption and skills, saying she would have fit right in with Bianca Belair and Iyo Sky on Raw last night. Giulia comes out to say the countdown is on. Roxanne has two weeks left. Perez goes to take a cheap shot while Giulia has her back turned, but Punk stops her strike.
  • Kelani Jordan was asked by Sarah Schreiber about Fatal Influence saying she’s ducking their challenge. Jordan says she’s aware she has a target on her back as women’s North American champion, but she’s going to defend her title against people who do more than just hurl insults. An open challenge does sound like a good idea some day, and when she does, she wants to see the Fatal Influence girls step up. They’re interrupted by Wren Sinclair, who introduces herself, mentions how Charlie Dempsey told her to make a name for herself, and said she’s going to do it now. Sinclair slaps Jordan and runs away.
  • Tony D’Angelo admits backstage that he’s afraid of Oba Femi. He’s not human, and Tony D can’t beat him.
  • Je’Von Evans and Cedric Alexander defeated No Quarter Catch Crew (Myles Borne & Tavion Heights) by pinfall; Alexander pinned Borne due in part to a distraction from Kelani Jordan coming out to go after Wren Sinclair ringside. It was then announced Evans will face Randy Orton on October 8th.
  • In a quick backstage interview, Ridge Holland said he will be seeing Riley Osborne next week, as Chase University is 2 down, 1 to go. Right after that, Shawn Spears wished Brooks Jensen good luck. Jensen asked Spears if he’s with him, and Spears is joining him for his match against Dion Lennox.
  • Brooks Jensen defeated Dion Lennox by pinfall.
  • Wes Lee responded to Zachary Wentz with essentially a “see you in Chicago” message.
  • Lola Vice defeated Jacy Jayne by pinfall. Immediately after, Fallon Henley and Jazmyn Nyx attacked Vice. The 3-on-1 beat down was stopped by Jaida Parker coming out to help make the save for Vice. Vice was upset, though, asking Parker what her problem was and nearly coming to blows with her since she didn’t want her help.
  • Backstage, Adriana Rizzo tried to comfort Tony D. It doesn’t matter what they think, as he’s always going to have the family, no matter what. She knows him and knows he doesn’t believe what he’s saying, as well as that he wants another shot at Oba Femi. They all believe in him, but he has to believe in himself. They’ll get him some special training.
  • Contract Signing Attempt #2: Tyrese Haliburton hosts Ethan Page and Trick Williams. After they sign the contract, CM Punk comes back out to reveal he’s going to be the special guest referee for their title match on October 1st. As he’s the one in charge, he allows them to start fighting right now, and they go at it to end the show being separated by officials.
