WWE RAW (10/7/2024)
CM Punk opens the show. He isn’t feeling good after Hell In A Cell. He wants to thank everyone, including the fans and his peers for supporting him. Punk has been away from his wife for about 5 weeks, and he would like to get back to her. Seth Rollins makes his entrance and completely disregards him.
When he gets on the microphone, he wishes CM Punk the best and to get well soon so he can retire him for good. Welcome to Monday Night Rollins! He is back to destroy Bronson Reed, but he isn’t here tonight. He knows he is watching somewhere, so listen real close. Two months ago, he ambushed and tried to end his career. For what? To make a name for himself? Congratulations. Six Tsunami’s later and he knows his name. You want to get famous? He will give him his 15 minutes. Rollins vs. Reed anytime, anyplace. Except this time he will be expecting him.
#1. [Intercontinental Championship] Jey Uso (c) vs. Xavier Woods – Winner: Jey Uso retains
Jey Uso offers Xavier Woods a handshake, but it is refused by Woods. After he and Kofi Kingston leaves the ring, Bron Breakker appears from nowhere and spears Jey Uso! Kingston runs back in to make the save, but he gets a spear, too. Breakker leaves the ring and spears Woods! And then, he returns to the ring once more to spear Jey Uso for a second time. Breakker wants his title back.
R-Truth finds The Miz talking to Karrion Kross and reminds him that he isn’t in the Judgment Day anymore. What’s going on? Their kids play together. Kross tells The Miz he needs to put a stop to this or nobody will take him seriously for the rest of his career. Truth says he will get The Miz a match, but he says that is part of the problem. Miz tells Truth that if he wants a match, they can have one against each other next week.
#2. [Donnybrook] Sheamus vs. Pete Dunne – Winner: Sheamus
Cody Rhodes is here on RAW. He cannot speculate what is going on, but we may find out more on Friday. If anything, he is looking forward to Crown Jewel. Sami Zayn shows up to let him he plans on joining him there. Cody Rhodes wishes him luck against Gunther tonight.
Earlier today, Raquel Rodriguez is seen driving to the arena with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio. Liv Morgan hasn’t got much to say, other than they are moving on from Rhea Ripley. They are insulted by the questioning, so they leave the building.
We have a surprise appearance from the former NXT Champion, Ethan Page. He has followed Ava, the NXT General Manager to RAW. She isn’t here to deal with him, she is here to assist Sexxy Red.
