- John Cena is opening the show with a promo, calling the fans terrible people who have to resort to profanity and saying he knows more about the crowd than they know about themselves (and that they know nothing about Cena). Their lives are sad. To him, the audience has been nothing more than an experiment, like rats in a cage. Pick out any moment of his career and he’ll say what he learned about them. They always want to matter. He mentions the spinner title as his greatest idea in April 2005 because he changed the championship to a toy to disrespect their legacy. Since the fans were vulnerable enough to tell him what meant the most to him back then, he’s going to ruin wrestling for everyone by winning the 17th world title and he’ll force everyone to forget the name of Ric Flair so they can forever say John Cena instead. But even worse, he’s going to retire with the title and it’ll force everyone else to create a “brand new toy belt.” He will be the last REAL champion in WWE. Cody Rhodes comes out next and says that in order to do any of that, he has to go through Rhodes, first. He offers Cena a shot right now, but Cena backs off, and Rhodes says Cena is going to walk away empty handed just like now at WrestleMania and when he retires, too.
- The Usos (Jey Uso & Jimmy Uso) defeated A-Town Down Under (Grayson Waller & Austin Theory) by pinfall. After the match, Gunther went after The Usos (primarily Jey, of course). Jey tripped before doing a spear and was getting the worst of the fight until Jimmy brought in a steel chair as an equalizer and The Ring General retreated.
- Backstage, The Judgment Day (sans Finn Balor) talk about their disappointment of Balor losing last week. Liv Morgan told Dominik Mysterio that his instincts about bringing someone into the group are always right, just like when he brought her in.
- A video package airs that hypes up the history of “El Grande Americano”. Then, LWO is talking to Adam Pearce backstage about how ridiculous this is, because it’s clearly Chad Gable. Gable walks over and claims it’s not only not him, but that he’s sick (and has a doctor’s note to prove it.) Gable suggests that since he can’t be wrestling tonight, Dragon Lee should face El Grande Americano instead.
- Women’s Intercontinental Championship Match: Lyra Valkyria (c) defeated Raquel Rodriguez by pinfall with a roll-up. Rodriguez and Liv Morgan double-teamed Valkyria after the match until Bayley made the save.
- Backstage, Jey is feeling down and doubting himself. Jimmy hypes him up that he can’t beat Gunther if he’s this version of himself. He needs to be the Main Event Jey Uso who won the Royal Rumble. Jimmy walks to the side and immediately runs into Gunther, challenges him to a match for next week, and when Gunther accepts and takes a dig at Jey tripping, Jimmy slaps the hell out of him.
- Adam Pearce goes to the ring and explains the contract situation with the women’s world title, reiterating that Rhea Ripley is not in the match. Iyo Sky comes out, followed by Bianca Belair, followed by Rhea Ripley. Pearce eventually breaks through their arguing to announce that next week, Ripley faces Sky for the title, and the winner will face Belair at WrestleMania. The EST of WWE ended up standing tall with the belt after all three of them fought again.
- Backstage, Penta is approached by Dominik Mysterio, who offers him a spot in The Judgment Day and wants him to think about it.
- The New Day then demanded a tag title match for WrestleMania. Pearce is fired up and basically tells them to earn it. Then, Belair came over to complain, and Pearce told her she’ll be the special guest referee for the women’s world title match next week. She’s not happy about that, but he says she has a week to figure it out.
- El Grande Americano defeated Dragon Lee by submission. Lee was unmasked, which gave Gable the chance to put him in an ankle lock for the win.
- CM Punk cut a promo about how he brought both of Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins into the business and can’t wait to take them out of it. They’ll have a contract signing on SmackDown, and he wants to see if this Triple Threat match is going to bring him closer to what he wants, or if it’s “another rug-pull from The Powers That Be.”
- Logan Paul had a quick insert about how he’s calling out AJ Styles for next week.
- Men’s Intercontinental Championship Match: Bron Breakker (c) defeated Penta via disqualification after Dominik Mysterio interfered. Mysterio, Finn Balor, and Carlito offered Penta an opportunity to join in their attack, but Penta decided to fight with Breakker instead, so The Judgment Day took them both out to end the show.
