We bring you coverage for the episode of WWE SmackDown airing on November 22, 2024. Missed RAW? You can find the results here.
The new Bloodline and Bronson Reed make their way to the ring. Solo Sikoa says they are ready to dominate, but do you know who’s not ready? Roman Reigns. He’s not even here yet. When he gets here, he needs to accept his terms of surrender. And when he does, he and his crew can finally acknowledge him.
#1. [Women’s US Title Qualifier] Blair Davenport vs. Bianca Belair vs. Chelsea Green – Winner: Chelsea Green
Bianca Belair left the match because the big screen showed that someone had smashed Jade Cargill on to the windshield of a car.
Just as the next match is about to start, a Shinsuke Nakamura vignette airs. He understands why LA Knight lashes out. His fear of losing everything is justified. This message is distracting enough to give Santos Escobar an opportunity to gain the upper hand as the bell rings.
#2. [United States Championship] LA Knight (c) vs. Santos Escobar – Winner: LA Knight retains
Shinsuke Nakamura immediately attacks LA Knight and leaves him laying.
Backstage, Nick Aldis asks Nia Jax if she had anything to do with Jade Cargill, but she denies it. She was helping Tiffany Stratton and Candice LeRae to prepare for their match. He leaves her after spotting Cody Rhodes to tell him he isn’t sure if Kevin Owens is here tonight. Rhodes assures him he would not pass up this opportunity.
Cody Rhodes makes his way to the ring. He pleads with Kevin Owens to meet him face-to-face right now. Owens shows up and stands in the crowd. He isn’t jumping just because Cody says so. If he wants a fight, then why doesn’t he tell him what has made him so upset? What happened to Randy Orton was his fault. For four years, he fought The Bloodline every week. Blood, sweat and tears. They tried to end his career more times than he can count. He kept fighting before he even came back. When he returned, he fought with him and tried to help him win the title.
Cody finished his story. And then what happened? Roman Reigns needed a partner, and who said yes? He did. He teamed up with the guy who tried to end his career, so everything that happened is his fault. Rhodes tells him if he wants to justify his actions, fair enough, but let’s say it how it is. What happened with Reigns has nothing to do with him. He has to be a victim. No one calls Kevin Owens down more than Kevin Owens. His self sabotage is next level. He is obsessed with this idea of being the face of WWE, when all of this is a team effort. While he was fixating on that, he forgot everything that he has accomplished.
When they wrestled at Bash In Berlin, he couldn’t pull the trigger, and he blames him for that. And when Owens finally pulled the trigger, he did so on the wrong guy. His friend and legend, Randy Orton. He didn’t just bring back a banned move; he crossed every line he possibly could. This won’t be settled with a promo, it will be settled when he beats it into him. Whether it is at Survivor Series or Saturday Night Main Event, it is coming.
He needs to know, and the ball is in his court. Owens says he will get his match, but only on his time. When it happens, he is just doing his job. He won’t have to worry about him pulling the trigger this time. He loved Randy Orton… but he hates him. Cody Rhodes tells him it is more like he hates himself. Whenever he decides they will do this, there are no lines he won’t cross.
Backstage, the OG Bloodline is still trying to figure out who their fifth member is. It won’t be Cody Rhodes or Seth Rollins. In the end, Roman Reigns says that maybe they don’t need a fifth man. They will go in and die together if need be. The rest of them agree. Sami Zayn asks what the plan is, but Reigns doesn’t know yet.
Carmelo Hayes tells Cody Rhodes that Kevin Owens was telling the truth out there, so Cody pushes him over. Nick Aldis and security come between them before anything can happen.
#3. Bayley & Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton & Candice LeRae (w/ Nia Jax) – Winners: No Contest
Iyo Sky, Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, and Rhea Ripley show up to fight ahead of WarGames. This time, it was Rhea Ripley with a kendo stick that made the difference.
#4. Montez Ford vs. Tommaso Ciampa – Winner: Montez Ford
Ciampa attacks Ford after the bell, so Dawkins shows up to help his partner. Johnny Gargano does his best to calm down Ciampa, but gets pushed over for it. Motor City Machine Guns jump in the ring and Ciampa quickly retreats. He asks Johnny Gargano which team is he on.
The show closes with the new and OG Bloodlines. Solo Sikoa tells Roman Reigns and The Usos he never stopped loving them, but if they join his Bloodline, they can run this company for decades. They don’t have a fifth man, or a Wiseman, and they don’t have a choice. Surrender themselves and join his team, or the four of them will die where they stand. Just as Roman Reigns is about to talk we hear…. “Ladies and gentlemen…”
Paul Heyman is here! And he tells everyone this won’t be four versus five. It will be five versus five. CM Punk! He walks to the ring, and the fight breaks out immediately. The OG Bloodline stands tall. There’s a bit of tension between Roman Reigns and CM Punk, but Punk assures Reigns he is doing this for Paul Heyman.
