Here are the results for the episode of Impact Wrestling airing April 5th 2019. Check out the following link for last weeks results: Impact Wrestling Against All Odds
#1. Petey Williams vs. Trey vs. Idris Abraham vs. Jake Crist vs. Aiden Prince vs. Ace Austin – Winner: Petey Williams with the Super Canadian Destroyer
– LAX segment: Ortiz has things on his mind as they talk about their situation, and Konnan reminds ’em of when he ran his mouth. He tells them to focus, because they have Eli Drake and crazy Eddie Edwards tonight.
– Taya Valkyrie: She replies “I don’t think so” to the question of Jordynne Grace getting another title shot. Madison Rayne pops in to challenge her, but Taya makes a joke about her getting lost in the Undead Realm. Grace cuts in telling Madison she can’t step in line. Madison makes her claim for a shot til Taya tells them to zip it. She proposes Madison & Jordynne have a match tonight, to find out who gets the opportunity to challenge her at Rebellion.
#2. Sami Callihan & Madman Fulton (w/ Jake Crist) vs. Rich Swann & Willie Mack – Winners: oVe with Sami’s Piledriver
There’s a post-match beat down. Tommy Dreamer comes out with a chair to make the save and oVe retreats.
– Menendez gets a stern word with Johnny Impact .. and the champ asks him if he wants to be John Stossel’d (they have the strangest conversations each week). He says what’s the point in being smarter than everyone if he can’t rub it in other’s faces. Killer Kross pops in and puts his arm around Menendez. Impact tells him he will get his title shot at some point, but Kross already knows this and is confident he will get his reward very soon.
– Smoky Rascalz segment. Moose is back despite not being invited. His new “girlfriend” (he can’t remember her name) randomly appears next to him somehow, but The Rascalz say girls aren’t allowed in. Apparently, Moose wants to spice up the place with Moose Money, and a party next week. He’s keeping Trey’s glasses and The Rascalz don’t have much choice.
GWN Moment Of The Week: Rob Van Dam vs. Jerry Lynn in Full Metal Mayhem at Bound For Glory 2011
– Aftermath of Allie’s demise. Kevin Sullivan tells Rosemary it was all on her. In a powerful mourning segment, she shows her anger towards everyone involved: Kiera Hogan, Father James Mitchell and Su Yung. Rosemary vows to do more, as she takes matters in to her own hands. Is she plotting revenge?
#3. Madison Rayne vs. Jordynne Grace to become #1 contender for the Knockouts Championship – Winner: Jordynne Grace with the Grace Driver
Taya ambushes Jordynne, who fights back and tries hitting the Grace Driver, but Johnny Impact interferes and helps Taya get the advantage. She stomps her down to the mat and Johnny sets up to do Starship Pain .. yet they are scared off by Brian Cage who makes the save at the last second.
– Josh Alexander vignette. Intense. “Don’t Corner Me”. “Violent”. Alexander debuts backstage with Ethan Page, and they agree to team up with the goal of showing the world why they are the best.
#4. Rohit Raju (w/ Desi Hit Squad) vs. Fallah Bahh (KM not present) – Winner: Rohit Raju using the ropes for leverage on the pin
The undefeated Scarlett Bordeaux’s here. She distracts them long enough for Fallah to hit the double clothesline. He sets them up in the corner, and looks to bump his behind in to them, but instead, Scarlett bumps into the corner with her backside; with a little stink face to boot. Fallah & Scarlett celebrate together as The Desi Hit Squad retreat.
– Cody Deaner & Eddie Deaner are in a barn celebrating their new Impact Wrestling contracts. What do they do? Err .. sign ’em? But they don’t have a pen. Oh wait, yes they do. One thing they need to establish early, is Cody is the one who does the thinking. They sign their contracts .. so I guess, coming soon are “The Deaners” tag team.
– Gail Kim history lesson package. Standing by is Tessa Blanchard, and she’s not impressed with the video. She says the bar was set pretty low in her era, so her trying to relive her glory days isn’t going to work. What’s happening at Rebellion? Gail Kim is walking in to Tessa Blanchard’s era, and in her era, she is nothing more than a fraud.
#5. Ortiz & Santana (LAX) vs. Eli Drake & Eddie Edwards – Winners: Eli Drake & Eddie Edwards with the Boston Knee Party after Santana was distracted by Lucha Brothers, and Eli hit Ortiz with “Kenny” the kendo stick.
Before the match, Konnan punches Eli Drake in the face and gets ejected from the ringside area. He gets hot at Don Callis, who says he can’t do anything as he’s only an announcer.
After the match, The Lucha Brothers get a table and set it up in the ring. Fenix lifts Santana up to Pentagon who is on the turnbuckle, and powerbombs him through the table. The Lucha Brothers send a message to LAX a few weeks away from Rebellion.
