Impact Wrestling Results (9/15/2022)
#1. [X Division Championship] Mike Bailey (c) vs. Mascara Dorada — Winner: Mike Bailey retains
The competitors show respect to each other. Kenny King attacks them from behind and gloats about it.
– Eric Young addresses one of his yellow coat guys following Violent By Design. He asks him his name and he replies Eric Young. Deaner brutally attacks him for it. He asks another guy his name and he says “The Designer”. Deaner does not attack him because he got the answer right. Another guy tells him his own name and is beaten up for it. The fourth guy says his name is “Violence”. The rest also say they are called Violence. You can see what’s going on here.
– Scott D’Amore says Mike Bailey has an interesting challenge from former ROH star Delirious. If he gets past that he has a ton of other challengers from around the world, including Frankie Kazarian, Mia Yim, and so many more.
#2. Decay’s Crazzy Steve & Black Taurus vs. Steve Maclin & Moose — Winners: Decay
Sami Callihan is in the building and the audio on his microphone sucks. He calls bullcrap on them not having issues while working together. Up on the screen, he gives evidence that they planned to team up to take him out but Moose will screw Maclin before he does.
Exhibit B shows Maclin saying he will stab Moose in the back before he can do it to him. Naturally, the two begin fighting and Callihan is happy. He soon gets involved with a barbed wire baseball bat, giving him momentum going into Victory Road.
– Taya Valkyrie suggest to Rosemary that the reason they aren’t working is because she is not accepting Jessicka. Rosemary says that she will if she can prove herself. Valkyrie has an idea.
#3. Alisha vs. Killer Kelly (w/ Tasha Steelz on commentary) — Winner: Killer Kelly
Tasha Steelz tries something but Killer Kelly psyches her out and says she’ll see her at Victory Road.
– A funny video shows a family worried because their father is in the hospital after being hit by a flying chair. As the father comes around, a name is muttered. Joe Hendry bursts into the room with a musical number!
#4. [Tag Team Championship] Honor No More’s Matt Taven & Mike Bennett (c) (w/ Maria Kanellis) vs. Josh Alexander & Rich Swann — Winners: Honor No More by DQ after Heath got involved
– Zicky Dice ordered ‘serious pizza’ to be delivered by Johnny Swinger to Jordynne Grace. On the way, they found an envelope with her name on it. She finds out that her “Pick Your Poison” opponent at Victory Road with be Max The Impaler. Grace isn’t happy with Zicky Dice and throws some pizza at him, and all Swinger can do is laugh because she’d fit right in at the dungeon, daddy.
– Scott D’Amore makes a match for Victory Road. Josh Alexander, Rich Swann & Heath vs. The Kingdom & Eddie Edwards.
#5. Mickie James vs. Hyan — Winner: Mickie James
Here comes Gisele Shaw. Looks like we have the next challenger for Mickie James’ last run. She’s amazed that the great Mickie James is having to beg for matches. Her time is up and if she really thinks she still has it, why don’t we have Hardcore Country vs. The Quintessential Diva at Victory Road? James seems to agree. Good, her career will belong to Gisele Shaw.
– PCO is getting motivated by Vincent again to remind who how is Honor No More.
#6. The Good Brothers vs. The Motor City Machine Guns — Winner: MCMG
They show respect to each other afterward. It looks like this was The Good Brother’s Impact Wrestling farewell.
