Welcome to EWrestlingNews’ WWE Friday Night SmackDown results for September 16, 2022!
We open up the show with Logan Paul, as he’s on the mic. He addresses the comments that he made on his podcast about Roman Reigns, saying he thinks he can take him inside the ring. He also notes he’s set up a press conference tomorrow in Las Vegas, and if Reigns is man enough, he’ll meet him face-to-face.
Paul Heyman and The Bloodline (who are without Reigns) head out. Heyman gets into the ring while the rest of The Bloodline wait outside. Heyman says of anyone outside WWE who could be a Heyman guy, it’s him. Paul hypes up how he went the distance with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Heyman then says he shouldn’t have opened up his mouth about Reigns. Paul says Heyman is scared of him challenging Reigns because he knows it only takes one shot for him to drop the Tribal Chief like a sack of potatoes. Sami Zayn gets in the ring and prevents Heyman from calling Solo Sikoa in to attack Paul.
Zayn looks to try and explain to Paul how things work in WWE, but Paul drops him instead. The Usos try and charge at him, but Paul exits the ring quickly, and Ricochet makes his way out for his match.
