Welcome to another edition of WWE Recap Report — a breakdown of the biggest takeaways of the week from WWE programming for those who may have missed out.

Whether you need to catch up on a show, had too busy of a week to stay on top of the breaking news or just skipped out on WWE as a whole, I’ve got you covered.

Obviously, not every single thing will be recapped here in detail. But this is your TL;DR of the week to be caught up to speed before the next Monday Night Raw so you’re not left in the dark.

With that being said, here is a quick rundown of this week in WWE.

MONDAY NIGHT RAW

  • Kevin Owens opened the show with a promo about how he’s going to embarrass Stone Cold Steve Austin at WrestleMania.
  • Damian Priest defeated Finn Balor by pinfall.
  • Omos defeated Commander Azeez by pinfall.
  • Liv Morgan defeated Queen Zelina Vega by pinfall.
  • Seth Rollins came out to say he has a plan for how to get to WrestleMania. He wanted to hijack The KO Show and do the same thing. This led to Sonya Deville making a match between the two with the winner having the talk show at WrestleMania.
  • The Mysterios defeated The Hurt Business by pinfall. The Miz and Logan Paul attacked Dominik and Rey after the match.
  • Edge cut a promo on how he’s abandoning the fans, as catering to them has led to him losing sight of his goals.
  • Bianca Belair defeated Doudrop by pinfall.
  • RK-Bro celebrated regaining the Raw Tag Team Championship. The Street Profits interrupted to challenge them for a title match at WrestleMania, which was accepted, albeit with some tension that led to a match, wherein Riddle vs Montez Ford ended with Alpha Academy attacking both teams.
  • Kevin Owens defeated Seth Rollins by pinfall.

NXT

  • The Miz is here to host an episode of MizTV with his guest, Dolph Ziggler. LA Knight interrupted and challenged Ziggler to a title match for the main event.
  • Cora Jade stole the tag team titles and hid them from Toxic Attraction.
  • North American Championship Ladder Match Qualifier: Santos Escobar defeated Cameron Grimes by pinfall.
  • Toxic Attraction interrupted Wendy Choo’s pep talk with Dakota Kai about how they’ll win the Dusty Cup to ask if they had seen their titles. Choo said “they’re hot, but kind of weird.”
  • A-Kid defeated Kushida by pinfall. He will face Grayson Waller next week in a North American Championship qualifying match for Stand & Deliver.
  • Backstage, The Mysterios had some words with Legado del Fantasma, setting up Raul Mendoza vs. Dominik Mysterio for later.
  • Tiffany Stratton defeated Sarray by pinfall.
  • Backstage, GUNTHER complained to LA Knight that he got his title shot by his mouth, not his skill. Knight asked if he’s just trying to position himself for a title opportunity once he wins the belt and said GUNTHER has the first part of sports entertainment, but not the second.
  • Backstage, Jacy Jayne found her championship belt. When she pulled down on it, it was a trap. Cora Jade rigged it so she got locked behind a caged door.
  • Promo: Tommaso Ciampa spoke about how he failed to get a “perfect fairy tale ending” by walking into Stand & Deliver with the NXT Championship or fighting for the title. Is there a perfect way to close this chapter of his career? Tony D’Angelo interrupted and challenged him to a match at Stand & Deliver. He said he respects Ciampa, but then hit him with a low-blow. After he beats Ciampa, he’ll be the don of NXT.
  • Indi Hartwell defeated Persia Pirotta by pinfall due in part to a distraction from Dexter Lumis and Duke Hudson ringside. Indi and Persia then competed with each other for making out with their significant others in the ring.
  • Gigi Dolin was tricked by Cora Jade into being trapped inside a dumpster while reaching for her championship.
  • Dominik Mysterio defeated Raul Mendoza by pinfall.
  • Cora Jade was going to mess with Mandy Rose’s car, but Rose was in the back seat, ready for her. She took out Jade and spray painted her back, saying she’ll take on anyone for her title. Toxic Attraction gets the last laugh.
  • The Creed Brothers called out MSK, thinking they had attacked them. MSK denied it. Imperium then came out to laugh at them and say they’ll fight both at Stand & Deliver in a Triple Threat, as they fear no one.
  • Backstage, Malcolm Bivens asked Grizzled Young Veterans and Edris Enofe and Malik Blade if they had attacked The Creed Brothers. Enofe and Blade denied it, as they only attacked the servers for getting too close to Mandy Rose. GYV denied it, too.
  • NXT Championship Match: Dolph Ziggler defeated LA Knight by pinfall to retain the title.

MAIN EVENT

  • Veer defeated a jobber (possibly Michael Stevens)
  • Tommaso Ciampa defeated T-Bar

NXT UK

  • Oliver Carter defeated Tyler Bate by pinfall.
  • A-Kid asked Saxon Huxley to be his tag team partner. Huxley accepted.
  • Wild Boar swears he’s going to give hell and torture to Eddie Dennis.
  • Emilia McKenzie defeated Nina Samuels by pinfall.
  • Mark Coffey talked to Sid Scala and got himself a Heritage Cup match. He told Joe Coffey, who endorsed it with “Gallus boys on top.”
  • Kenny Williams laughed at how of course he has enemies for getting under people’s skin.
  • Earlier this week, Symbiosis spoke to Sid Scala, who informed them Dennis will face Wild Boar. Dennis tried to decline it and have T-Bone or Primate in his place, as he’s “more of a manager these days”. Scala accepted this idea.
  • Aleah James defeated Stevie Turner by pinfall.
  • Noam Dar and Sha Samuels talked about the Mark Coffey situation and someone betting on Mark.
  • Video Package: A breakdown of the feud of Isla Dawn and Meiko Satomura.
  • Roderick Strong defeated Wolfgang by pinfall.

FRIDAY NIGHT SMACKDOWN

  • The show opened with a Roman Reigns promo. Paul Heyman told him Brock Lesnar’s flight was grounded and he wouldn’t be there. Then, it turned out that Lesnar was on his way. Reigns, Heyman and The Usos booked it out of the arena, but Lesnar was ready with a forklift to ram it into their limo. He then lifted it up with them inside (not really) and flipped it sideways. They ran into a truck and got away, but not before Lesnar ripped the door off. Lesnar then came out to the ring with the door to cut a promo about how Reigns can run and hide, but in two weeks, at WrestleMania, he’s going to do more than blow the doors off him. He’s coming for blood.
  • Rick Boogs and Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Los Lotharios by pinfall.
  • Drew McIntyre and The Viking Raiders vs Happy Corbin, Shanky and Jinder Mahal by pinfall.
  • Sasha Banks and Naomi vs Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley ended with Natalya and Shayna Baszler attacking both teams to try to insert themselves into the title picture for WrestleMania.
  • Pat McAfee was told by Vince McMahon (supposedly) to apologize to Austin Theory. McAfee twisted it into a “sorry I beat your ass last week” type apology.
  • Ridge Holland defeated Kofi Kingston by pinfall.
  • Charlotte Flair cut a promo about Ronda Rousey, who came out and fought with Flair. Flair got the upper hand.

NXT LEVEL UP

  • Xyon Quinn defeated Damon Kemp
  • Lash Legend defeated Valentina Feroz
  • Dante Chen defeated Bodhi Hayward
